More Than a Race.
A Desert Tradition.
For 18 years, the Sangre de Cristo Marathon has brought runners from across the country to the high desert of northern New Mexico. At over 7,000 feet of elevation, this is a race that demands respect — and rewards it with one of the most breathtaking courses in the American Southwest.
Whether you're chasing a finish line or just chasing the sunrise over the Sangre de Cristo mountains, this race is built for those who run for something bigger than a clock. Join us October 18, 2026 in Santa Fe, NM.
